A traditional stone farmhouse with space to relax

Casa Pietra is spread over two floors, with the main living accommodation on the first floor and an additional small apartment on the ground floor. This layout provides flexibility for families or groups who appreciate having some extra space.

The first-floor apartment measures approximately 80 m² and is accessed via a covered external staircase. At the top, a spacious terrace with a table and chairs offers a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast or dinner while overlooking the valley.

Inside, the entrance hall leads to a generous living and dining area with a sofa, a large dining table and a well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes an oven, a four-burner hob, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher.
There are two bedrooms on this floor, furnished with two double beds and one single bed in total. They share a bathroom with a shower. The first floor can accommodate up to five guests.

On the ground floor, a separate small apartment provides an additional double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. This bathroom is also accessible for wheelchair users. This is also where you will find the washing machine. An extra kitchen is particularly convenient when spending the day by the pool, whether you need to prepare a simple lunch or keep drinks cool.

All windows are fitted with mosquito screens.

A shared fenced swimming pool and outdoor facilities

One of the highlights of Agriturismo Il Poggio is its 14 x 5 metre swimming pool, with a depth of 1.40 metres. The pool is fenced and shared with Casa Rosa, making this a lovely option for guests looking for a holiday home near Umbertide with a shared pool.

Each house has its own entrance and private garden, so you can enjoy your own outdoor space as well as the communal facilities. A barbecue and a traditional pizza oven are available for shared use, perfect for relaxed summer evenings. Two baby cots and two high chairs are available for families travelling with young children.

Please note that the swimming pool is open in June, July, August and until mid-September.

Explore Umbertide and the surrounding countryside

Although Casa Pietra enjoys a peaceful hillside location, the town of Umbertide is only about a 10-minute drive away. Here you will find shops, restaurants and a weekly market on Wednesday mornings, making it easy to combine countryside relaxation with everyday conveniences.

The location is also a good starting point for exploring northern and central Umbria. Città di Castello is approximately 30 minutes away, while Perugia and Assisi can both be reached in around 50 minutes by car. Florence is about two hours away and Rome approximately two and a half hours.
