Villa La Ginestra is a comfortable private villa with a swimming pool in Umbria, sleeping up to 11 guests. Set in the quiet countryside just 6 km from Umbertide and north of Perugia, it is surrounded by green hills and beautiful views across the Upper Tiber Valley.

With six bedrooms, four bathrooms and plenty of space both indoors and outside, Villa La Ginestra is a wonderful holiday home in Umbria for families or groups of friends looking for a peaceful base from which to explore the region. The setting is wonderfully quiet, yet Umbertide is close by for shops, restaurants and everyday essentials.

A traditional Umbrian farmhouse with plenty of space

The villa was originally built as three separate apartments and has retained the character of a traditional Umbrian farmhouse. Old wooden beams, traditional materials and a relaxed atmosphere give the house an authentic feel, while the layout provides plenty of space for larger groups.

On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and gas cooker, together with a dining area. There are also two bedrooms: a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom with a bathroom in the hallway.

The first floor has a comfortable living room and a second, smaller kitchen. Four further bedrooms are located on this floor: two bedrooms, one double and one twin, share a bathroom, while a further double and single bedroom share another bathroom.

Between the house and the swimming pool, a separate reading room with sofas provides a place to relax with a book or simply enjoy some quiet time.

The holiday home with private pool has a beautiful 12 x 6 metre swimming pool, with a depth of 1.20 to 1.50 metres. The pool enjoys wonderful views across the Umbrian hills, making it an especially inviting place to spend long summer afternoons.

The pool terrace is furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas and is surrounded by lavender and other aromatic herbs. The entire pool area is fenced, making it particularly convenient for families travelling with children. There is also a separate outdoor toilet close to the pool, as well as a washing machine.

Enjoy long summer days outdoors

There are several places around the house where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. In front of the villa, a covered sitting area beneath old trees offers welcome shade during the warmer hours of the day. A second covered seating area is located beside the house, slightly higher up the hill.

The well-kept garden is green and colourful, with flowers in pots and plenty of space to relax. There is also a barbecue for easy outdoor meals and perfect for enjoying dinner together after a day exploring Umbria.
